Sex crimes plea from Simi Valley Man
A Simi Valley man pleaded guilty to sex crimes involving children. According to Ventura County prosecutors, Ryan Faith, of Simi Valley could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Faith pleaded guilty to two counts of lewd acts a child. He also admitted to substantial sexual conduct with a person under the age of 11, and to committing this crime with multiple victims. In a second case, Faith also admitted to aggravated possession of child pornography. According to investigators, Faith had more than 600 graphic images of children at the time of his arrest. Prosecutors also said that Faith molested two children he lived following his April 2016 arrest.

Faith drew the attention of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Simi Valley Police Department, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security and the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office.

Faith will return to Ventura County Superior Court on October 12 for sentencing. Prosecutors expect the judge to hand down a life sentence in the case.
