Sex crimes charge for Ventura man
A Ventura man accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl faces sex crimes charges. Ventura police arrested a registered sex offender after he allegedly touched the girl inappropriately. The incident took place at a local arcade.

The girl told her parents, who then called police. The man fled from the arcade before police arrived. Following a review of security footage, police identified the suspect, a 23-year-old Ventura man. The man is a registered sex offender and has multiple convictions for sex crimes. Police requested a warrant and arrested the man at work.

Authorities are holding the suspect at the Ventura County Main Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 20. Currently he faces one felony count of committing lewd acts upon a child.
